Change is inevitable. And with the change in time, Apple has to bring some changes to make new standards of their laptops. In other words, Apple is redefining its products. While also a school of people believes Apple is killing its standard laptop MacBook. I would not get into the conclusion about whether it’s good or not. So let’s discuss what it is actually about. Read on to know more about the changes Apple intends to bring.
The main 2 events that have brought our attention to these changes:
- Apple brought updates on MacBook Pro and MacBook Air on 9th of June 2019
- Apple cut down the prices of MacBook Air to INR 99,900 as well as new features in the first of its series MacBook Pro.
Covert actions by Apple never really depicted that its 12-inch MacBook which was released in 2015 has vanished from its online store. In fact, this was the first laptop by Apple which was a design standard for all the recent MacBook laptops including stunning MacBook Air and MacBook pro. Some noticeable changes they made in the newer model are slimmer bodies, debatable keyboard designs, and elimination of all the previous ports other than USB C port.
Now that Apple’s standard laptop is not seen anywhere on its official website, experts believe that the agenda behind this is to replace its standard laptop with MacBook Air. And to make it possible, Apple has discontinued selling the standard laptop and also reduced the prices of MacBook Air.
The standard MacBook laptop was out in 2015 which didn’t have any specific suffixes like Pro or Air. And in late 2018. Apple redesigned MacBook Air which many people believed was death causing disease to the standard MacBook. And now those people can see the day has come when the standard one has to depart.
This is not the only thing. Apple also has pretty much killed the MacBook Pro also. The only Pro version of Apple laptops which had a small touchscreen that sits atop a keyboard and replaced a computer’s function keys. But again, some people also see it as a nuisance that is not that helpful and yet is battery draining.
Apple grabbed the opportunity to release this new laptop as a part of a back-to-school promotion where they have lowered the price of MacBook Air to INR 92,704 for any college student and also gives a pair of Beats headphones. In addition, MacBook Pro is also available for INR 111,264 for college students.
This doesn’t mean Apple doesn’t have any issues with their products. Even the brand-new laptops might have keyboard issues and previous models of this machine have been seen as keys getting stuck. Previous laptops were observed to have the keys get stuck, page becoming unresponsive, or type the same letter multiple times in a row with regular usage. The company also agreed and admitted that its new laptops might need to be repaired new laptops which made their market this year. However, Apple has extended the repair service.
Apple is going to bring new laptops in the near future. Let’s pray that it won’t have keyboard issues. So how do you think Apple has thought about its recent move?
