We all know how important laptops are for our present generation. Many of our everyday tasks remain incomplete without the use of them. However, choosing which one to buy turns out to be a dilemma.
There are several factors that play around before buying a laptop:-
- Budget is probably the defining factor. Affordable laptops might not have the desired configurations, while well-featured ones might go out of the budget.
- Specification comes as an important point to consider, though people with budget crunch don’t get the leisure of choosing as per their will.
Hence, under such a situation, there is a strong need to find some of the most price-justifying laptops around that satisfy the specs part too. Luckily, Coconics, a new Kerala-based company has brought three affordable options for buyers who are in a dire need for a laptop with decent performance.
The three laptops are:
- Coconics CC11B
- Coconics CC11A
- Coconics C314A
The three laptops serve different purposes based on what requirements you are looking to fulfill. So, before you make the purchase, check out what the laptops bring.
1. Coconics CC11B
The Coconics CC11B isn’t an entry-level laptop in the new company’s gallery, and the features are such that it could put any such competitor into shame. It is compact in size and can be taken anywhere the need occurs. Moreover, the performance is not compromised at all, hinting that users won’t be dissatisfied at all.
Now let’s talk about the Coconics CC11B in details
The new CC11B laptop from Coconics has a basic Celeron N3350 that can pull out a decent performance, if not too fancy. However, when combined with a 4GB of DDR4 RAM, the multitasking and working on all the apps become smooth.
The laptop boots on Windows 10 operating system as default. Moreover, the laptop has a 32GB of eMMC storage, which is somewhat insufficient for storing a lot of files. All the users can do is let the internal storage be used to install applications while the additional files and multimedia need to be stored in any external device like a pendrive.
Display and Build
The Coconics CC11B has a compact display measuring 11-inch diagonally. The display has a full HD resolution and is built on the IPS technology. This combination results in exceptional viewing quality and ample brightness. The touchscreen feature makes things more convenient for the users.
The laptop is built in the shape of a Yoga tab-cum-notebook, which means, it can be rotated 360-degrees. It is very sleek and comes in a metallic casing. For the kind of compact and lightweight it is, it forms the perfect companion for travel days.
Lastly, the battery backup is really huge and allows the users to use it non-stop for around eight hours at a stretch.
2. Coconics CC11A
The Coconics CC11A is the entry-level laptop from the company as of now and has some features carried on from the CC11B. However, it is designed for much sedated use, which means the features aren’t that rich. But it still justifies the price tag pretty well and offer great VFM (value for money).
The Coconics CC11A does carry the same trendy and slim design and is lightweight as well. However, it is a standard-looking laptop and misses out on the 360-degree rotating hinge and a touchscreen display. Hence, being a student-focused device, the absence of these features wouldn’t hurt as much.
Display and Performance
Both the display and performance part of the laptop are inferior compared to the CC11B. It has the same 11-inch display, but misses out on a full HD resolution. Instead, it manages with an HD display only.
Under the hood, the Coconics CC11A is powered by a Celeron N4000 processor from the make of Intel. Though this might not extract a really fast performance, the 2GB of DDR3 RAM seems to be enough for regular web browsing and working on basic apps.
The laptop has the goodness of Windows 10 operating system installed as the stock OS. However, the inbuilt storage is bigger than its close sibling and the users get 64GB of eMMC space.
3. Coconics 314A
The Coconics 314A is the flagship laptop from the company at the time of announcing the three pilot models. It has a commanding performance despite being more affordable compared to most of the laptops in the segment. It has a much better storage and performance. All of that is paired with the classic and eye-catchy design.
The Coconics 314A is probably the sturdiest laptop there is in the market, especially considering this exact price range. It is a very rugged model and has been tested to be drop resistant. Moreover, it is water resistant as well.
Display and Performance
The Coconics 314A has a 14-inch display that gets an HD resolution, which seems to be decent for the price tag. The performance is handled by an Intel Core i3 processor from the 7th generation family.
The performance is further enhanced with the presence of a 4GB of DDR3 RAM. This set of processor allows the users to work on the laptop on multiple apps at the same time. The storage section is pretty rich too as the laptop offers 500GB of hard disk drive capacity.
And lastly, with an inbuilt Windows 10 operating system, the users would not need to worry about installing it after the purchase has been made.
Despite being the newest India-made company on the block, Coconics seems to have got the combination right to woo the Indian consumers with quality. All the three laptops announced initially are thrown at different purposes – business class, students’ use and trendy looks.
Hence, if you want to invest in an indigenous laptop-making brand, the newly established Coconics seems to be the perfect fit in the bill.
